The year of the Monkey

On the 8th February the Chinese Lunar new year begins.  Each Chinese New Year is characterised by one of 12 animals which appear in the Chinese zodiac. This year it’s the Year of the Monkey.

I was born in the year of the rat, which I gladly found out In Chinese astrology, the animal zodiac signs each have unique characteristics.

  • Rat: Intelligent, adaptable, quick-witted, charming, artistic, sociable.

Id like to think I suit this.

The girls love Chinese food, so this year I shall make a few of our favorites in celebration.

Here are some recipes you might want to try at home too.  Iv chosen the super easy ones from our repertoire.
